In this blog, I wanted to share a recipe for some Easy Garlic Honey And Lime Shrimp I made over the weekend. I don’t know about you, but I like to make some seafood from time to time for a change of pace. This recipe is super easy to make and contains some healthy herbs and spices. It also contains some fresh lime juice, which adds some vitamin C like clementines, and a little citrus flavor. Give it a try it you like shrimp and are looking for an easy, healthy recipe.

Easy Garlic Honey And Lime Shrimp

Easy Garlic Honey And Lime Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 lb shelled and de-veined shrimp
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. melted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. honey
1- 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Cayenne pepper
Fresh Thyme (chopped)
Fresh Dill (chopped)
Fresh parsley (chopped)

Directions:

Rinse the shrimp with cold water, drain and then set aside.

In a large skillet, add the olive oil and butter and heat on medium. Add the garlic and saute, until it turns slightly brown. Add the shrimp and stir a few times. Add the honey, lime juice, salt and cayenne pepper to the mix, as well as the chopped dill and thyme. Cook the shrimp until the honey lime mix thickens up. Remove from heat. Serve with vegetables and rice, if desired. Garnish the shrimp with the chopped parsley.

Enjoy!
