In this blog, I wanted to spotlight the health benefits of the grapefruit. Grapefruit is a popular fruit that is known for both its sweet and sour taste combination. While some people love the tartness of this fruit, others may prefer a sweeter citrus option, such as an orange. Like lemons, limes and other citrus fruits, grapefruits are rich in antioxidants and can help boost your immune system. They are also rich in fiber, low in calories and high in a variety of nutrients. Some vitamins found in grapefruit include: vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin A, potassium, folate, magnesium and more. Additionally, grapefruit is considered a super-food and may help prevent cancer and heart disease. Grapefruits have other nutritional benefits, as well.
